I served as a Logistics Officer with 10th Special Forces Group from 2015-2019, deploying twice to Afghanistan, where I met and became friends with Justin Lascek.
When I heard that Justin lost his legs to an IED in March 2019, I wanted to do something to help. I was put in touch with the Special Forces Foundation, and thus began Climbing For Casualties.
I have a deep love for the mountains and pushing my personal limits. I have personal aspirations to become a sponsored mountain athlete, but in the meantime, I’m just having a grand ol’ time doing what I love for a great cause!
Designer of many things- mostly interiors- and an outdoor enthusiast with big love for the mountains.
When Matthew Randall informed me of Justin Lascek’s story, it became the catalyst for me to help make Climbing for Casualties a reality.
Additionally, I have many friends and family who have served in the military, so volunteering with CFC is a meaningful way to be able to give back and honor them.
Operations and Social Media Manager
I am a graphic designer and social media manager with a background in non-profit work.
I have been married to a military man for 10 years. In that time, he has had 8 deployments. We have unfortunately seen a lot of loss in our community. Special Forces soldiers have the highest casualty rate amongst all of our military groups.
It is an honor to give back to these deserving warriors. I am grateful for this organization, and excited to see what our future holds!
